Crisp Air, Hot Saunas, and High-Ridge Solace: Fall at Stoke 🍂

The air in the Valley of Adventure has turned decidedly crisp, signals for early dusk are settling over the gorge, and the canopy is shifting to fiery reds. While summer is for chasing adrenaline, autumn at Stoke Resorts is built for high-performance R&R. A chance to hit reset before the holiday rush takes over.

There is a distinct magic to this weather. It’s in the cold, clear mornings that call for heavy mugs of coffee behind 20-foot glass curtain walls. It’s in the quiet solace of our freshly expanded on-site hiking trail system, where crunching leaves beneath your boots are the only sound for miles.

It’s also the absolute best season for our cedar wellness saunas perched high on the ridge. Nothing resets a tired mind quite like stepping out of the autumn frost and into the intense, restorative heat of the wood-fired timber. To complete the ultimate Nordic recovery circuit, we’re currently installing a dedicated high-ridge cold plunge. The contrast between biting air, deep steam, and icy water is pure rejuvenation.

Beyond the sauna, we’ve added new ways to reconnect with the forest, and each other:

• The Valley Viewpoint Swing: A giant sightseeing swing cantilevered out over the valley for front-row seats to the changing mountains.

  
  

• The Forest Play Area & Games: Tailor-made for family downtime, complete with a natural climbing wall, obstacle course, disc golf targets, and horseshoes.

  
  

• Cabin 2’s Outdoor Fireplace: A brand-new, custom outdoor fireplace ideal for trading stories as the temperature drops.

As twilight arrives early, the evening rhythm shifts to cosy bonfires under ink-black, star-filled skies, followed by the deep comfort of in-floor radiant heat and tiled showers.

Peak leaf-peeping dates are nearly gone, but the season for serene, high-ridge comfort is just getting started. Swap the rat race for firelight, forest air, and well-earned stillness.

What’s New at the Ridge:

We’ve expanded our on-site hiking trail network and unveiled a new forest play area complete with a custom climbing wall, obstacle course, disc golf, horseshoes, and a breathtaking sightseeing swing.
